2000 Outback 4-cyl radiator drain petcock

I just got this notice to bring my car into the dealer so Subaru can add some stuff to the radiator, something about possible head gasket failure. Anyways since car has 65K miles on it, never changed anti freeze thought it would be a good idea before they add this gunk. I can’t find a drain petcock on the bottom of the radiator. Is there one, where? Is there an easy way to drain the block too. It’s a 2000 Outback with four banger…thanks
My MY02 2.5 has the petcock on the passenger side, all the way down on the bottom. I don't have any plastic intake piping on mine so I can locate it easy, but you really can't see it too well. Put your hand down there and feel for a plastic 'wing nut' like valve. to open it, turn turn it to the driver's side. Brian

Thanks for your help...
So should I slide off that plastic skid plate, same as you would if you wre changing the oil, its up in there I would think. Does the antifreeze go every where when you open the petcock or does it have a hose on it or something?
Any idea how to drain the block ?

The antifreeze follows the least path of resistance...yeah right. It flows all over the plastic skid plate. I just make a little canal for it right into the pan. I wouldn't worry about getting all the antifreeze out, just a usual drain. Brian
