15,000 watts of boost
has anybody seen the ads for these electric superchargers. i know theyre in scc. theyre made by thomas knight turbos. they want $3000+ for an electric supercharger that can only run for 15 seconds at a time. the ad says theyre perfect for cars with no available super or turbocharger kits. i didnt think a custom FI kit would cost much more than the cost of this thing. to me, this is one of the dumber products ive seen recently.

these seem pretty legit. from the pics i've seen, it's an actual lobe type supercharger powered by three 6 hp motors. power requiements seem high enough( takes a lot of power to really run a supercharger). might be useful, but you need 4 extra batteries (weight?)

I have seen actual legit models. They say the work for 15 secs at a time creating **psi of boost. Of course the ones I have seen go for about 3000. You could buy a tubo or SC kit for that.
