07 2.5i with wrx hood, should I worry about rain?

So I have a 2.5i with a wrx hood and I'm wondering if it rains really hard, what can happen to my engine or electricals since I dont have an tmic for the water to drip on? Just a little bit paranoid since I hydrolocked my old car. Thanks in advance.

I'd be more worried about being part of 4 bad Fast and the Furious movies.

Your car will be fine though.

If the older subies can rock a hood scoop for no reason and be fine in the rain... newer subies will be fine too.
