04 WRX...different paint issue

It doesn't really stop chips though. If you get really close to my car on the bottom of the doors it looks like it was shot with a shotgun.

And I don't take the car offroad.

I hate subaru paint.

I washed and waxed my car the day i bought it and I noticed that but I didnt notice that it was different on both sides. it look intentional to me so I was like "alright"

I'm having other issues with my car though so the paint quality is on the backburner with my car.

what kind of issues? Just wondering....might be something for me to look out for.

As for my paint... I talked to someone tonight and they told me that it is intentional....something about light refraction and chip protection. I am gonna double check with my dealer but I trust him so I'll not panick for the time being.

Besides the paint my car has been perfect.....I think.

well my 04 doesnt have that pool at the bottom of the door. but i do have rice grain size spots of looks like a paint pool on about 5 different areas on my car. just bought the car in july and the spots only showed up a few weeks ago.
i took it to the dealer but in hawaii they only let the paint air dry they dont have an oven, so the guy their told me the paint job wouldnt come out as nice as it is now. but he also told me i have 3 more years on my warrenty so if it realy bothers me then to bring it in.
