Let's keep oranges together and keep the modsquad mobiles where they belong.

Maybe its not good enough for rally racing. um if it were it would sit higher. like a lift kit or something. why do you have to lower the sti? why not raise it up.

I have the feeling that he (JC Demonfort) was talking about me.
2004STI, you've put up a very nice reply, I couldn't have done it any better.
Personally I don't care about the "blue/white circular" emblem, that's why I'm on the list for the STi.
I said I as trying to mod the handling of my M3 (which in stock form was voted as best handling car over $30,000, above NSX, Porsche, etc) to suit my personal preference, in the end, it ends up being .8" lower (it could have been 1" higher, I could care less, as long as it handles the way I want it).
I never said anything about rally racing, yet you (JC Demonfort) seem to be dissing the M3.
Each car has its own strength and weakness. I don't intend to rally race the STi nor do i intend to drive the M3 into the alps or Morocco rally. I do intend to participate in driving events & autocross though. I'll drive the STi in stock form first. Then if needs be, modify the suspension to MY taste.

This is friggn like common sense!!
messing with the coilovers will mess up everything....as in the power distribution, dccd, braking distribution because the computer is set up on the stock suspension and how everything distributes to the wheels but if u mess with the coilovers...figure this part out when u screw up ur car

I'm new to Subaru, AWD and the supersport ABS thingy.
AFAIK, coilover is for adjusting weight distribution, lowering CG, adjusting bump and rebound and a different spring rate.
