I really don't understand this...could it be bacause I don't grow up in the US?
Seriously, in the place I grew up, I almost never see a wrx wagon, be it STi or not.

Cos Americans are infatuated with SUVs. If you think about it wagons are so much more partical in every sense of the word.
In Japan, Australia and Europe wagons are everywhere. Audi has some pretty sick wagons.

I doubt that many people are buying SUV/wagons because....well, many other people are buying them.
At least this is what I see. I live in the Bay Area. I am confident to say that 95% of the time I only see 1-2 people sitting in SUV/wagons. And 90% of the time the car is not filled with stuffs.
Makes me recall the recent commercial where they (the Detroit Project) accuses people of funding terrorists indirectly. It is a little exaggerating but I do think that SUVs are not as necessary as they are being told to consumers.

Nope, STI will only come in sedan black, white, silver or blue. The only option is gold or silver rims.

I love the STi, but the bottom line is still, no wagon, no sale. Guess I'll have to stick to the lowly "regular" WRX.
