STi motor swap???

Does anyone know if you can do a sti motor sway with a standard wrx? I was offered a brand new STi motor and parts if i was interested but if its not doable then i guess theres no point.. but i dont see why it cant be done. im assuming the motor will drop right in and the only problem i see would be the ecu and drivetrain running properly.

Do you think it would work with the motor , tranny w/o diff controler, and ecu???

Its doable. You probably need more than you think, like the pedals to work with the electronic throttle, the guage cluster cause its electronic now too, among other small things...
