STi or G35 Coupe?
if you're looking for performance and luxury and comfortability, then it's G35 all the way. if you're looking for the rally inspiration and a fun daily driver and pure performance, then it's the STi. you have to know what you want first in order to make that decision. it's like, if there was only one way to go, would you upgrade suspension or the engine? it all depends on what you want and what suits you the best. i'm sure either way you go, you won't be disappointed.

Very easily said and seperated.
Though much harder and complex to do and rationalize.
Both vehicles are great choices its just a shame they are so close in specs. If the STi were somehow quicker or the G35 slower (i.e 0-60 in 7 seconds) or if the G were $2K more in cost and/or the STi $2K less in cost it would then be a much easier decision to make.
After the G jumps in price this summer by $1.5 - 2K then these conversations will die off. Until/unless Subie raises their price in '05.

They all advised I walk away fast from the Biper before it bites and the venom gets under my skin. They say folks re-mortgage their homes to buy & maintain them only to end up divorced, homeless, in debt and ultimately broken men having to sell the object of their lust.
I don't need that.
So I averted my eyes even after getting some seat time.
Fun, sexy, hot & lusty...but the kind of girl that will get your **** kicked in a bar and then laugh as you bleed.

G35 - Stillen 'Supercharger' Update
FYI:
I found new info via 6MT.net on the Stillen Supercharger development.
There are pics of a 350 Z with the unit installed as well as a body kit and other assorted items. I'll reserve opinion on 'looks' but you can view the pics directly at http://www.my350z.com/gallery/albuo68

WRX Grille & Hood Scoop Protector
Essosgas,
I found the following pic and info via 'Subie Gal' at NASIOC just a moment ago;
She sources her 'Rally' tested equipment from a supplier called 'GrillCraft'.
So you now have several possible options/solutions toward that hood scoop issue. Personally though, I won't be drving my STi in this manner (it'll be a lease) so I'm not concerned about deflecting boulders & big rocks. But hey, if this kind of fun floats your boat then good luck and post some pics.

wow! , where in washington is that? ..
10 years later ( give or take a few years ) being the boss on the street or feeling invincible (my car is better than yours) dose not really matter anymore. And those 0-60 and 1/4 times are just for reference. Even if I ever get to buy an STI ot Evo or _______ , there are still a lot more drivers in much "less powered" cars that can out handle and out drive me. And I respect them.
I really wish our sport is based on respect other than bragging rights. But that's too much to wish for .

Also, thanks for more info on the bug scoop. And hey, I didn't know (if you choose the STi) you were going to lease the car. Why lease?
