With Advan and Kenzo slightly bending the curve the median age thus far as based on reports is 26.6 y/o.
Meanwhile, yesterday I was back at my local Infiniti dealer to test drive a second G35C 6MT and while waiting for the salesman to get it out of PDI I walked over their neighboring Cadillac dealership (Jim Coleman Cadillac in Bethesda, MD) to see how the other side lives. All these years and I've never stepped foot in a a Caddy dealer.
Man, it was like a time warp in to both the ancient past and the horrifying future at the same time. Old geezer 'Ensure' victims shuffling about in the service lane with walkers on wheels (no lie)! The sales floor was huge but with at least 20 feet between each car (only 7 on the floor) across a floor space that was more expansive than that of my medium sized single family home including my front lawn. Also they have this ancient looking Eldo sitting at the top of the floor that looks just like the one that Sorrell Booke drove as 'Boss Hog' in the "Dukes of Hazzard".
I could almost see the skin flaking off these living dead people as several ogled over a display stand that featured various tire variants; blackwall, whitewall, blackwall w/red stripe, blackwall w/yellow stripe and blackwall w/white stripe.
I turned on heel and nearly ran out of that place as it gave me the creeps just the same as my grandmothers basement used to get me when I was a kid. It was like being in a George Romero film.
Geez...and GM wonders why sales of Caddy's are on the decline and no 'young' folks (60 or younger) are interested in their products other than Escalades.
I think just being in that place for two minutes aged me a year.
Now I _need_ an STi to regain my lost youth and vitality.
