I believe the idea that these cars are not even built yet. because a saturn only takes 45 minute from parts to car. so I figure a subaru would probably take 2 hours? so they could start building these car by end of may if they want to.

yep, I called it cow poop first time he told me, but he's a pretty ohnest guy, also, cause he's a saturn sales, the guys who owns four saturn dealerships told him that.

Where is this info from and what assumptions are you making to provide your answer? My coworker who used to be a Saturn employee said that it would take a couple of hours to heat treat some tranny parts. Are you assuming that all of the parts are ready to go? I mean painted, heat treated, and ready to be bolted on. Remember that they also have to machine some parts and outsource others. The time you assumes gives the machinist seconds to build his/her part. That doesn't sound right.

In regards to the car being produced in 45 minutes, the number is an average of completed cars in a day. It is not the time that Car A enters and exits.

As for the styling change on the WRX, the change was prompted by the reaction of the rest of the world to the front end. The people in the US got used to it but people in Japan, etc didn't.
