Question from newbie
hey
well, the last model run (GC series) went for alomst 9 years with no real big modifications.
The currend GD series was a mostly new chassis, and totally redesigned exterior. due to lackluster worldwide response, they have made an "early" exterior change to make the car more "worldly". this model should run for at least 2-4 more years.
the STi should be a perminent model in the line up indefinatly.

ok... so let's say that sales are good, that the STI is in demand and that dealerships are selling them like hotcakes. Assuming (now you know what happens when you do that) that dealerships get what is supposidly allocated at 7 to 8 STI and sell that
would it be safe to say that the STI will at least be in the line up for a good 4 or five years?
I ask that cus i really would like to buy one. It would take me about two and a half years to buy one straight out. I had an RSX Type S, and I totaled it and I had dumped about five grand in suspension mods (lost grip going around a corner, see even that much can't make you stop) well theres no use in crying over spilled milk. One things for sure, I'll keep it on the track I've learned my lesson.
I just really like the way the car looks and I really like the all wheel drive. I'm always watching speed vision and the all wheel drive cars deffinately have the advantage in my opinion.
I really do believe that the wave of the future is the all wheel drive monsters (for the import seen that is) it's just my opinion flame on if you like, thanks everyone for your response and your input, I think that this discusion is going very well, peace
