Please help me purchase and export STI to England

Hello to all you lucky people I very much like the STI that the USA market is going to be receiving. I would like to see if it would be possible to order a Right Hand Drive example and export it to England. Obviously I would be looking to place a tax free order as I am not a United States citizen. Does anyone know of a dealer close to the East Coast that takes export orders?

ok, I'll reply.

go onto the subaru of america site and look for dealers on the east coast and start emailing.

Personally, I think you'll have a better chance if you just wait until the buzz is over before trying to get one now. Also, doubt if you'll be able to get RHD.

So...it's the engine and the DCCD right?

DCCD is availible on the UK one..

plus they get DVD and other cool gadets

he going for that 2.5 i d say..

but i d personally would stick w/ the 2.0 twinscroll.

Since the STi 2.5 is only coming to US/Canada, I can't imagine they're making any RHD versions. Besides, it might be easier for you to get an STi Type UK and do an engine swap. All the rest of the essential hardware is already there.

it wouldnt be worth the hastle man... just wait for abit, buy yourself a uk 2.0 get the 300hp prodrive upgrade... the 2.5 will make its way around the world by next year i believe as ppl are already askin for it in other countries and subaru would be stupid not to sell it outside america after its reception. what id really like to see is a 3.0 H6 turbo squeezed into a impreza! that'd be fun! subaru has already made plans on building a 3.0 turbo liberty STi in australia as of 2005... est power is 330kw which is 440hp or so... that thing will be awesome and i hope it comes to the usa! but just think, that engine in an impreza!! mmmm
