(where is the) IAT sensor (on export model 2000 WRX?)

Car Info: 02 Impreza WRX sedan
Since i-Club is primarily a North America-based Impreza message board and the WRX did not reach our shores until the 2002 model year (2001 in your part of the world), I can't comment on your intake air temperature sensor location. In our model years, I believe the sensor is combined with the MAF sensor in the intake assembly.
