my options
i went to my dealer and actually got to talk to a sales manager from out of town that was there on business talkin to my dealer about the STI's. He informed me that mine was coming in the second shipment, i am #2 on the list.. he said it will arrive late june. Anyways i told him that my dealer said there was a sunroof involved and he said the dealer was wrong... the only thing available for my car would be the wheels of course and a turbo gauge..... i asked him if i was right about them being 250 bucks and he said yes..... but what is the rhyme or reason for having one in the car? I told him 250 was steep and to not put it in my car but is there really any reason for me having one? I don't plan on doing anything major to the car till i have had it well over two years.... what do you guys think?

Re: my options
You can get a boost gauge for much cheaper than that in the aftermarket. If you play on keeping the motor stock, don't get one. If you add a boost controller you will DEFINITELY need a boost gauge becuase if you overboost and blow a piston ring through the turbocharger your dealership will rake you over the coals for the new motor.
You can do simple things like an air filter and cat-back exhuast without a boost gauge, but anything more than that and I'd invest in the extra insurance.
