Having problems setting rev limiter
Having problems setting rev limiter
I am following the owners on how to set the rev limiter(at least I think so)and I cannot get it to change. I get to the point where it shows 70 and then turn the +/- and release and nothing happens. I am missing something. Please help.

You can adjust the rev limiter with the car on or off, e-brake up or down. The car just has to be moving at zero mph.
I was just showing my dad this feature today.
The last performance car he saw was an Olds 442 we had back in the late '80's.
Anyway, turn the car on.
Turn the rev adjustment **** clockwise and hold one second. Upon doing so you'll hear a beep (single beep) and the rev light will turn red/on. The tach needle will move to its current setting wherever that might be. The temp gauge will indicate the exact RPM setting as two values. For example 5100 RPM equates to "51". Turn the **** clockwise to increase or counter-clockwise to decrease the RPM setting.
Once you are happy do nothing and wait two seconds.
The temp gauge will change to indicate "On" if the tone feature is to active. After another two seconds the unit will again beep (single beep) and the outside temperature will again display. The shift light will go off/out and the tach needel will fall to its correct setting (if idling) or to zero when off.
Its easy.
The directions in the OM are spot on.
If worst comes to worst just go ask your local Subie sales person to show you how to do it.
