Raising my REV Limiter
Does anyone know of a piggy back chip out there that I can use to raise my rev limit? I'm doing a bottom end rebuild (balanced to 1/4 gram) and a valve spring upgrade. So I want to raise the rev limit to 7250 to make my gears more usable.
thanks

Don't quote me, but i don't think the stock computer can handle mapping for any more rev's even if you found a way to bypass the limiter. Altho if you want to do it up right, an ems...such as the tec-II will do it for ya... and i just happen to have a used one for sale

A Unichip (piggy back) can do it for you. you need to buy the rev module for it and solder it to your mother board, its not a tough process, but do it with someone who has done something similar before. Then you can raise it to where ever you want by flicking up two of the 4 switches on it.

thanks.
I really was hoping I didn't have to spend that kind of money because I just bought a different piggy back unit.
Guess I screwed myself.
