I will verify for you in the next couple of days. The lights I'm getting come from the UK, not japan. So, if the bumper bar on the UK 2004 STi is the same, you'll be in luck. But I will check.

Well, the picture I have is exactly like the on you posted and like. So, apparently it fits the US model ( I will test one on my own car) as for price, I'm still finding that out. It couldl be a good deal because the kit might and should include the insert housings.

Okay, whoever is interested I can get the LARGE Foglights and the Inserts for 780.00 US. No tax but there will be a shipping charge. These are imported from UK and it is confirmed they WILL fit perfectly with the stock USDM bumper. Here is a picture of them. Sorry I don't have a wide shot.

I'm going with neither. I'm saving for my winter tires and a new set of summer rims in the spring. I think I've decided to stay with 17" rims as opposed to 18".

Ug.

Me likes. Me can't afford right now. Any idea why the cost so much more than the JDM? From some of the threads I saw the JDM + new bumper is in the 600.00 range???

Hope this helps, and as you can see there IS NO way(as of yet) to use the stock USDM bumper beam to install the JDM fogs.

Is it a whole foglamp kit you can get?

Do you think that the fog lamps will fit and "plastic inserts" will match the ones on the bumper of a 2004 Impreza RS?

My understanding is the kit will fit on the USDM Sti as is. No need to change out the bumper. Also, it is the whole kit. I checked this twice. There is no time limit with the supplier. Sorry I took so long to respond but nothing alerted me of a private message.

I have installed the JDM fog lamps on my STi and the only way I could see to get them on without swapping the bumper beam was to cut it. The reason why the US spec light have the extended piece at the top it to allow for the bumper beam. I will answer any question you have but I think the NASIOC post probably covers most.
