first upgrade

hello all,
I have a question for all that have done work on their wrxes. I have bought a turboxs rfl bov but might sell it for a more practical bov that recirculates back. But I was looking to work on the exhaust, up pipe and/or downpipe. What are you recommendations?

first upgrade...

Thanks for the info. I bought a TurboXS BOV and looking to maybe a standalone ECU Upgrade. Any suggestions to best performance for the dollar. Vishnu and TurboXS offer but what else is there?

Also if anyone will like to comment on uppipe and downpipes...Will a hollowed out OEM give the same performance as an aftermarket pipe?

no it wont give the same performance...vishnu has great ups but all ups void warranty ii think...as far as exhaust greddy, vishnu, txe, hks, 5zigen, etc. ...there are many good ones out there, it really comes down to looks, tone, loudness, etc. and instead of buying a downpipe you may just want to go w/ a TBE, squeeze that extra 5 hp out of it for not much (if any) more than buying them seperately...to get you started: https://www.i-club.com/reviews/index.php - i-Club reviews section. good luck.
