Hey all,

I'm currently waiting on my black STi, supposed to be at the end of the month, but no set day. I'm in the BC interior, so if anyone's gotten their's yet, let me know! What type of mod's are you guys going to start off with? Me, doing tint, rims & stereo off the bat.

I saw that STi down on Ogden Road in Calgary a few weeks ago... but im pretty sure its gone now... apparently it was the STi training day car.

It should be about 2 more weeks until Canada starts recieving STi's. Maybe sooner??

 

If you dont mind me asking, how much did you end up paying for your beautiful car??

I'm fifth in line in Mississauga for a blue/gold. The general manager says there is a meeting this week or next and he should have some firm dates for us soon.

He still doesn't even have brochures for the STi!

i went to subaru mississauga yesterday and they have the prices to import the HID from the US...1400 per headlight!!! wow...expensive...now they are checking how much the headlight adjuster switch is etc...

 

Is there a headlight tilt switch in the Canadian Sti?

 

thats what i asked and of course...they didnt know....what a surprize....i dont know why this car is so in the dark here in canada...id assume it doesnt have the switch because we dont have the HID's to adjust, and you only have the switch cause HID's are brighter and when towing something etc they'll shine in some eyes...well, that's at least my understanding.

i just want my car SOOOOOO bad.

 

oh, armrest extension worth it?...does it get in the way when shifting?...and anyone have pics of the auto-dimming mirror....thanks.

 

Tint and stereo/DVD navigation. I'm keeping the rims because I can't find anything better and the stock rims are worth $900.00 each! I will also be getting full rust protection, undercoating, sound baffling and diamond gloss paint protectant very, very first thing. Goes from dealer straight to Zeibert Tidy car for the aplications. Total cost is $750.00 including tax and worth every red cent. Have it on my current mustang and wouldn't dream of doing anything else.

What audio components are you thinking of? High end stuff or future shop stuff?

 

Mine just came in today! I don't know if I can get it at this very moment.

 

My STi came in yesterday and I will be picking it up this Saturday. Blue and gold, looks awesome! First one out of Downtown Subaru in Toronto. I have been waiting for this car since I took delivery of my silver WRX 25 months ago. Surprisingly, my STi was built in March. I took it for a short spin yesterday after the completion of its pre-delivery inspection. I got some puzzled looks as it was still sporting its protective masking tape camouflage. It was very hard to tell much given that the beast had only 10 kilometres on it and I therefore had little desire to push it even to 4000 rpm, but my first impression is that it will be very different from my WRX. Needless to say, I am looking forward to Saturday!

Any other Toronto owners out there yet?

 

Congrats to all the peoples that recieved their STi's....Just a quick question. I've read that the CDN seats are different then the US STi's seats...I was able to take a close look at one today here in Winnipeg, and they look like the US one's!? Is that true!? Thanx in advance
