where to mount bass controller?
hi guys, i was wondering if anyone of you use a fosgate amp or any similar amps that includes a bass controller type of thing. i have no where to mount this thing so that it sits nice and looks decent. i was thinking of replacing one of my dead buttons with it, since the car has so many
but the bass controller is kinda fat and oval shaped and that doesn't fit as well as i would like. thanks

I'd say either where one of the dead buttons is or if you want to keep it hidden (to hide the fact that you have an amp and a sub) from thieves, put it inside your center console storage compartment.

I have an 01 2.5 RS and I mounted my base controler in one of the many change holders that are on my center consol. I don't know if this will help you but I figured I would try.

I believe the "fat and oval shaped" is an enclosure for potentiometer. You should be able to disassemble it and put it anywhere discrete. If you have a console between the front seats, put it in the armrest pocket.

I drilled a hole in the dead button next to the sideview controllers, poked the stalk of the controller through, then popped the dial on so it holds it in place. Very convenient location.
I think I want to put a power cutoff switch also, though. I listen to Howard Stern in the morning and his voice is deep enough to rumble the car, even with the controller turned down.

I put mine behind the trunk release lever. In between the seat and the black plastic casing. it comes with a bracket that you screw to the plastic casing and the lever slides on. the only way anybody sees it is if you open your door.
