V1 hardwiring?

Was wondering how I could hardwire my V1 to my car. I have the home link rear view mirror. Can i splice into there? Any where better to splice into?

I spliced into the cig lighter for power & grounded to the chassis. I dont have the homelink transmitter so I cant speak as to which wire to tap into. But if you do go up there, dont cut & splice, get some "T-taps" from the automotive store , they will be right by the fuses. Or get a fuse tap.

Yes, it is pretty easy. I did it a year ago or so. I think there is a guide on nasioc or iwsti.
