Turbo Timer for my F-XT

Any suggestions for my F-XT ? i dont want anything too fancy, just something simple and is dependable.

thanks guys. now i wont have to spend any money at all.

but i could've sworn that the guy at Stevens creek Subaru told me that the turbo needs idling time "because it gets very hot"

dumb ***.

Do a search for Stevens Creek in the Bay Area forums of i-club and nasioc - Stevens Creek is notorious for being full of criminals and maniacs.

If you are driving at 10/10ths just take it easy for a few blocks before you shut the car off. That way everything gets a chance to cool down including the brakes. Can't get more simple and dependable than that

Just to be sure, I let the car idle for about 30 seconds before I shut it off -- time enough to put the sun shield in the front window and tidy up the car a bit. I've noticed that the car "ticks" a lot less when I do this than without. However, you can't let it idle enough for the fan to come on -- that's a sign that the engine is actually heating up, not cooling down, due to the lack of airflow through the engine.

what other "truths" did they tell you...

i swear, all the horror stories i hear from that place and people still buy from them...

i guess their low prices win people over good service...
