i just yanked my old stuff out of another car and now i need to get a wiring harness and dash pocket for my '06 wrx wagon. besides crutchfield, where may i go looking.

started looking last night on crutchfield for what i need, then off to ebay to see what i could get it for.

i've got 2 diamond audio 12s in a sealed box right now with a hifonics 500x2 that i pulled from my other car. it was pretty loud in the civc but i'm wondering if 2 12s in the wagon will be overkill? i'm not into the whole spl thing, although sometimes when a certain song comes on i fancy a little more bass.

That will be a good amount of bass at any volume. Just tweak the low-pass built on the amp when it trims frequencies and you'll be good. Last thing you need is a rattling trunk when the bass notes hit.

 

Afraid that it might be too much, if there ever is such a thing, I'll only be running one of those Diamonds, hopefully in a nicely built custom enclosure.

I would like to run only one amp but not sure how many channels the amp should have.

What I have is the Diamond M3 sub, I think 300 watts, 600 rms? Hifonics 500w x 2 and an Alpine 9815 deck.

What I'll probably be getting are some Diamond Audio components, the ones with silk tweets.

Recommendations please.
