Hi all,

I'm looking for a 6.5 component set for the front. I've been using (in my last 3 cars) a set of old school Polk Mobile Monitors. Which I liked a lot, but are getting beat up and rusty.

I'm considering a set of new MM6's or possibly Diamond Hex (silk).

I don't like a harsh tweeter sound. I prefer a mellow, laid back speaker with good clarity. I'm using Onix Rocket 750s for my home set up and am looking for a similar sound. I guess I'm kind of ruling out aluminum and titanium tweeters.

For now I'll be runnning 50WPC to the set. But will be going to a larger amp in the future. I'm also using a 10" Image Dynamics sub in a sealed box.

I'd appreciate any comments on the MM6's or feel free to throw out other ideas in the $300 range. Hex's? Focals?
