i'm guessing you're talking about the 02 wrx you listed in your profile.
its pretty easy.
- pop the cup holder open, and loosen and remove the two screws holding it in place. remove the cup holder by pulling it straight out.
- starting on the top right corner pop off the radio bezel cover in a clockwise fashion. there are 6 clips holding the silver bezel on to the dash. the top left one can be a pain sometimes so be a little gentle.
- once the silver panel is off you'll be able to see the radio. there are a total of 6 screws holding the radio in place. four up top and two lower screws that are set a little deeper in the dash. loosen and remove all six. becareful with the lower two, since they are deeper in the dash they are a little harder to get at incase they fall out.
- pull the stock deck out and remove the two metal brackets from the sides.
now you can install your aftermarket deck.
