OK I know lots of people saying how it is a pain for aftermarket speakers to get droped into the factory holes. So I made a simple insert and cut holes for my new Alpines and finished it off with new fabric! This is for MY00 rs2.5



Ok so I made a center piece of board to fasten the speakers too.

Here the back deck with deck removed. Remove Child seat bolts and side trim.



Traced the area I wanted and traced that onto the new board.



Here is the board cut out and placed on the original.



I had some left over material from the sub boxes and used spray glue to fix the board and the material too the old deck.





Here is the deck with fabric glued down and speakers droped in and holes drilled for screws.



Here is the final product back into the car and no more rattling speakers!! You could also at this time before you place the deck back in, place dyno matt or some sort of pading undernieth.
