I have an '05 RS, should be the same. Lift the rear edge of the shifter surround, pops right out revealing two screws at the bottom of the center stack. After removing these screws, the center trim is held in place (tightly) by two spring clips at the top of each side. I used a new, clean painters 5 in 1 tool (nice and wide) and removed mine without leaving so much as a smudge; others have used a straight screwdriver covered with electrical tape. If you search the forums this should be covered, I didn't take any pics. To connect the amp, you need to have an amp that will accept high-level inputs from the speaker connections or an adapter to convert the speaker level connections to RCA's. Because the 05's have an amplified antenna, you should have a trigger wire (usually blue) coming out of the stock deck to turn it on, you could possibly use this to energize the remote turn-on on the amp or else just use an accessory power feed that would turn the amp on whenever the car is on. I used an aftermarket adapter for my deck so I didn't note the factory color codes. Try doing a search on Scoobymods.com
