new alarm on the sti's

Anyone know if it will work with the 02s? I really hate the horn honk of the old factory alarms and the ones on the stis beep instead of honking. Are all the 04 alarms the new way?

My 04' XT is an electronic Beep kind of sounds like a microwave button being pressed. My guess is the STi is the same...

the 02-03 keyless entry system is wired inline to the oem horns. in order to retrofit the 04 alarm beep you will need to rewire the keyless entry horn honk output to trigger the 04 alarm beep speaker.
