Talking My need HU with Legacy Din pocket

Took me less than an hour to install. The only complaint is that when the DIN door is open it hits the HU when it is on. But that is just a minor set back. LOL

Damn! I think i should have gotten the forester DIN pocket lol. Oh well i can get it at a later time. Maybe down the road i can hide the boost control and turbo timer in the DIN pocket hehehehehe.

The forrester din pocket is much larger. You can put a few cd jewel cases in the forrester. The legacy is too small.

What about switching???

I haven't done this yet (since my 04 hasn't even F%$#@%& arrived yet), but I also plan to change out the factory 6 cd/cassette radio for a Kenwood CD/MP3 player.

My question is can you rearrange the unit so that the head unit is below and the din pocket is on top? Wouldn't that help with the parts bumping into each other when you try to open the din unit?

Also, is the Forester din pocket an easy fit or do you have to mod it also?

Here it is. It looks a little better i think. My only concern now is that the deck is blocking the ac button and dials. oh well....
