Just installed new head unit...having problems...please help

Just installed new head unit...having problems...please help

What does it mean when I get a loud "thump" from the subwoofers everytime I change the track?
I did not get the thump when I had the factory head unit in...

What can I do to fix this problem?

nnnn, could be a characteristic of the headunit.
which one did you get? how loud is the thump? so loud that
it sounds like you're changing channels on a cheep home theater system?

DO YOU HAVE A SLIGHT WINDING NOISE FROM YOUR SPEAKERS? MAN LAST TIME U HAD TROUBBLE WITH THE ARMREST, AND THEN U HAD PHOTOSHOP PROBLEMS, BUDDY COME LIVE NEXT TO ME, ILL GET YOU THE GIRLS AND HELP YOU ON UR RIDER

the thump is pretty loud and its coming from the subwoofers...I had the deck in my BMW before I put it in the WRX and I also had the same amp/sub setup in that BMW but it did not make that sound....

no I dont have a winding noise from my speakers.
as for living next to you, I think i'll pass.

Could be the RCA wires having interferance.. To check just get anohter set of them and run them from your HU outside your car on hte ground over to your amp in your trunk and see if it still does it... Some sets have a ground wire that you can hook up... It could be just the HU.. I think my kenwood does it sometimes.. IT did it more when i had the EQX hooked up.
