How Hard Is It To Steal A WRX?
Because mine got stolen, but how is it possible when I have all the master/spare keys and alarm remotes?
Here's the thread:

Well, here we go again . . . . people just don't stop acting retarded.
Not a very good way to bring in the x-mas season, but as we all know my integra was stolen, so I made the choice to get out of hondas.
Picked up the "BUMBLE BEE" 02 Yellow WRX that use to be parked behind the mall area from my buddy, and Sunday between 12-4am
someone came onto the property in Maalea and jacked it. How who knows, nobody in the complex heard or saw anything.
I have all the keys and alarm remotes, car was left in gear, emergency brake up, and someone took it straight off the property. Car was spotted in the haiku area by "***ushima Store" just past the store down by that gulch . . . . . the next day the car was spotted by police in hana, but the cops couldn't catch the guy.
Car is currently traveling between Hana & Haiku, possibly other places near by.
If anyone see's the car the cops do have a APB out and know exactly what to look for, i'm just happy that police have seen it. They believe this crime is tied to another car theft. Cops told us someone stole another silver wrx right off the kawasaki lot and they have a feeling its the same guy.
For all of you who have not seen the car before here is a pic of it:

What is this island coming to? Just also got word while typing this up that a "Hummer" was stolen lastnight. We gota come together and help stop all this car theft bull**** before everyone's car gets stolen!
If you see anything close to the car do call 911 or the local police department, then get ahold of me.

With the factory alarm and a manual transmission, it's very easy unfortunately. I won't post specific details but I can tell you that a good number have been stolen in NJ that were equipped with the factory system.
Although it's impossible to protect any car 100%, the Subaru security system is only effective when enhanced with some additional layers of protection.

even if you know how to steal one dont tell anyone the details i dont care what kind of sob story they give you DONT TELL THEM we dont need our cars getting jacked by some punks that found out how easy it is....
While removing the fuse is not a bad idea it is not sufficient by itself. It will not prevent towing or pushing. There have been cars stolen in NJ that were literally pushed away down the street even though they would not start.
This really sucks and pisses me off so f***ing bad. Me and most other people work extremely hard on our cars and for some lowlife to come and steal it from you behind your back is simply F’ed up. I had my last car stolen from me it was a 2000 Civic that I had put a lot of time and money into. The reason I talk about this is that I took every precaution and theft deterrent every time I left my car. I would remove the fuel relay, ECU and quick release steering wheel I also had a top of the line Clifford alarm with blackjack and lowjack but some how they still managed to steal and strip my car before I got up at 5:30am the next morning to report it stolen. So no mater what you do if the right thief wants your car they will get it. I have more respect for the person who puts a gun to my head and stills my **** then the coward who goes behind my back to still.
Damn.........sounds like we all need to find out where to buy a parking boot (for the wheel) and use them each time we park somewhere. That, or get yourself a really bad reputation for beating the crap out of people, and a thief will probably think twice about going after your s***
