Question how to disable factory alarm?

hey guys just got my remote start with two way page alarm. the installer didn't know how to diseable factory alarm.
when my aftermarket alarm is triggered, so is my stock alarm. so i have to disarm my aftermarket and factory alarm.
i don't want to carry two remote. so if anyone have a quick fix to this pls let me know. or i can always go to the dealer and ask them. but if its really simple i dont want to go to the trouble.

now that's a ****ty installer. just undo your center console and remove the oem alarm "brain". the brain is located next to the hand brake under the center console.

thats what i'm planning to do, but isn't the 'brain' is behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. i called a couple of dealer they said that they goin to charge me about $120 for removing the alarm.

funny thing is i set my alarm on vallet mode. but it still goes off when my aftermarket alarm goes off. i thought that it should disable the alarm, but i guess not in this case.

i'm going to unplug the brain of the alarm and see what happens, any suggestions or better idea?

man I installed my own alarm remote start 2-way. All I did is disconnect the factory alarm unit that is near the E-brake and that was that. A good way to test it is the disconnect the factory unit, Open the driver door hold the door nipple and press lock the doors should lock and you will see no "security" light. if you don't see it then your factory unit has been by-passed. Good luck I have a 04' Rex.......
