Horn not working all the time
(put it in the "sound" thread, hope that's ok)
I have a 04 wrx with around 110,000 miles on it. Today I put an ap v1 on my car. I was putting the base map on an error happend on 90% saying check connection or low voltage. I put the map on starting at 0% after this and worked fine.
I went on Cobb tuning.com and they said if that happens it might mess up the ecu. I drove the car around to check it out and everything seemed ok.
Going home from a freinds house I try to honk my horn at some idiot but nothing happens...then it honked...it honks about 40% of the time I push the wheel in. If I just hold it down it will make the horn nosie too.
What's up? Is it ecu problems? Maybe battery? Or something else? Please Someone help, I fear the worst!!

The ECU has nothing to do with the horn. It's just a horn, no computers involved.
Does it cut out when you turn the wheel? If so, you might have a bad clockspring/roll connector. This would affect the cruise and airbag system as well. A bad clockspring will eventually set an airbag code and turn on the airbag warning light.
