Head Unit Install
Head Unit Install
Ive read most articles, but is there a connection piece that uses stock wiring to new speakers? The stock speakers are connected with a weird + - connector. Also say I run new wires to all 4 speakers. Anyone know if the wiring for the speakers in the car now if they are taped or some how attached to the rest of the wires that go through the door or would I beable to pull them right out after I disconnect the speakers and stuff?
Any help is great, Thanks in advance....

I used the male portion of a spade connector to go into the factory wiring harness in the rear door panel. Then used electrical tape to seal it up.
you really only need new wiring if you run over, say... 30 watts rms.

Well the only reason I would change the wires is because I would have to cut them. I dont want to cut anything on the vehicle that came with it, so If I wanted to return it to stock I could. Thats really the only reason to run new ones. What do you mean the male portion? The one that is on the stock speakers now?
