Fuse

Is there a way to remove a fuse in an '04 WRX sedan, so that the ignition cannot be started if someone tries to steal the car? But, still have the alarm on with the fuse removed...

find out which fuse controls the fuel pump, that would be the best way.

no fuel pump = no starting the car

Im sure that one fuse doesnt control just one device. That would just be impractical.

i've had cars where there was fuel pump only fuse, so it would't suprise me to learn that our cars were wired that way.

Just wire a switch to the fuel pump and hide it somehwere. When you leave the car hit the switch and no electrical connection to the pump. Get back in, move the switch to the on position, connection restored, off you go.

I'll check it out, thanks! I was thinking about taking out the battery when I went to work...but that would be kind of awkward.

Damn! Just run the switch that way you don't gotta be taking out your battery every time. And by taking out your battery all the time you'll be resetting your ECU all the time.

Where do you work? I is that bad there?
