dealership custom stereo in sti help
do you think a dealership would be able to do a custom stereo. i dont care for the stock subaru one. i would like to take the car to a independent audio place and put a stereo in it and then finance the stereo with the car. is that even possible. i cant talk to the dealership untill friday. let me know what to do, thanks. oh by the way i dont have the cash to do it myself thats why i would need to finance either the subaru radio or aftermarket. oh one other, what does a tint cost on the wrx or sti. i will try and get them to add that for free. thanks guys. ryan azsclub.com

i've never heard of them doing anything like that, i guess you could ask. you do know they have an upgraded stereo available with the wrx? its not great, but its an improvement. tint is about 150-250, i think. boost gauge is cheaper aftermarket, you'll save a few hundred, also the wrx boost gauge is in bar instead of psi, many people dont like that. foglights...well dude do you want foglights? they dont really help too much in the fog and they're mostly just for looks IMO. id get them.

yes most definetly, i will try my hardest. but if i cant i must go with teh stocker huh, becasue it will be months before i can get 1k to spend aftermarket. might as well get the stocker and build from there. if i cant get my first choice. laters ryan

well with the stock speakers, i heard the head unit sucks, just replacing that helps out a lot. so maybe if you have no better options, get the upgraded speakers and woofer then a few months down the road swap the head unit for whatever you want...but ask the dealer if you can listen to the reg speakers and the upgraded speakers before you make your decision...

no sorry i did not expand on my first post. i can get a 1k stereo aftermarket but thats not high on the list. i would rather spend cash on stuff like tires. springs. exhaust. that i cant finance. i would rather finance as much as i can because i have gotten a much better deal than what i had expected so its no big deal to bring the amount up a bit. but i have decided againts financeing it because a friend is giving me his wrx setup now that he went aftermarket. anyways thanks ryan
