CD player on stock unit not working

CD player on stock unit not working
I pulled out my stock stereo and put it back in...all plugs back in place.
Now the CD player doesn't work, but radio and tape player are both working. When I press the CD button nothing happens and it doesn't even show that there are 6 CDs in the changer.
Is there something that I may have overlooked?

If you pulled out the unit with CDs still inside, they have probably shifted out of place and jammed. The only solution is to open up the unit and remove or reposition them manually.
The HU should never be moved with CDs in it because this will happen.

hmm...interesting. I guess I'll be taking apart the HU then.
Can anyone else chime in? If there are any other possible solutions other than dismantling the HU please let me know
