Which Amp??

I am thinking about getting either the Alpine MRV-F450 or the Infinity 5760a to power 6.5" component speakers in the front and 4" coax in the back (both Infinity Kappa) as well as a 10" Polk/Momo sub.

Question is, why is the price difference so much? Here are the links to the specs for each amp on Crutchfield.

Any insight to this would be GREAT!
Thanks.

i prefer alpine. they're one of the best companies that make car audio. i use alpine amps on my surrounds and they are super clean.

Factory HU, or aftermarket? If factory, use the option that has built in Hi Level line in options. I believe that would be the Infinity. If you already have an aftermarket HU, I'd opt for the Alpine.

Never heard of that before.

The Alpine offers two additional features over the Infinity - Bass Engine (requires an Alipne head unit) and a subsonic filter (really only needed if using a ported subwoofer enclosure). THe Infinity offers high level inputs so you can connect to the factory audio system and not need and line-converter box.
In terms of reliablility they are the same. Both are good quality and well manufactured units.

Honestly if you A / B them there would be no difference in performance.

Between the two mentioned, I prefer Alpine.

JL Audio makes great amps as well!
