alarm chirp

does anyone know how to disable the horn from beeping when close the door?

Look on the back of the key fob remote, directions there I believe.

yeah press and hold both buttons at the same time. then you should hear the chirp one more time. done.

The they would be Alpine, CodeAlarm use to make the alarms but they switched. The codealarm was even worse.

(PS: that fob is to our OB VDC but they are all the same)

change the chirp?

I've turned off the alarm chirp, because I couldn't stand the annoying honking sound. Ideally, I'd like to have the lights flash instead when I lock or unlock the doors. Alternatively, changing the chirp to a beep (like BMWs or Lexus's) would be okay too. Does anyone know if either is possible and how to do it?
