03 wrx oem crossover

I'm plannin on putting in my amp and subs but was curious if I could hook it from where the factory hooks up the option sub. Does hooking it up this way take low frequencies that were before going to the stock speakers now playing through the subs? or how can i acheive this. Are there any FAQs for installing amp and subs to oem stereo

The radio doesn't have a sub out, infact it doesn't have a usuable pre amp out. You can buy a high/low converter or speaker level converter to rca that has a X-over in it at www.davidnavone.com . Look at the N-85v for $35.00 it will do the trick. If you mount it under the dash you even have a sub level control.

Not worried about crossover anymore. My amp will do the trick. I'm tryin to find an easy way to hook up my amp. Do i have to go through all the wires and find two that goes to a speaker and hook that to the input. I've already hooked up the power and ground. I also was told i need to find a wire that will turn off my amp when my radio and/or car is off.
