stock crossover for wrx?

Does anyone know if the 2004 WRX have a crossover somewhere? I rewired the whole car thinking the tweeter is tapped off the midrange speaker but i guess it is not the case. I ran the wire from my amplifier to the midrange speaker directly and no response from the tweeter. Can anyone help me? thanx

OK lemme see here...you're using your stock speakers with an aftermarket amplifier?

Usually, if you're going through the trouble of wiring an amp and setting it to the front speakers...you'll have bought speakers as well. At that point either run all new wire or find where the stock crossover is....disconnect the speaker wire before the crossover and connect that wire to your new speaker's crossover.

the crossover is built right into the tweeter... essentially the tweeter and the mid range are hooke up to the same wire ... i believe on most stock systems the tweeter has some type of crossover right before it reaches the cone ... best thing to do is just to buy som components becasue those stock speakers are made out of paper... just my 2 cents
