I would suggest the Perrin intake. Much nicer than the Blitz in my opinion. The only thing I don't like is the only color you can get for the filter is red. I ordered a "blue" intake, but the only blue part was the silicone hose.

Here's a pic:

Well, the two people I've talked to have said that the filter on the Blitz unit deteriorates pretty quickly. Of course, we are in the mountains and have some pretty wide ranges of temperatures and weather conditions. Plus, one guy I know had a problem with his Blitz staying installed. I'm not sure the excact problem, but the guy wasn't an idiot or anything so I have to believe he had it installed correctly. But I remember more than one time we'd stop somewhere and he would lift his hood only to find that his intake tube on the intake had come loose from the turbo inlet hose.

I like Blitz stuff usually, so I'm not saying anything bad about them. The guys around here may have just had some bad luck. But I'll stick with my Perrin. I have heard few if any complaints about any of their stuff.

There is a paper (or maybe cloth) element inside the mesh, much like a K&N filter. On theirs, after a few months of running, there were holes about half the size of a pencil eraser in it. The first time we saw it we thought it was dirt on it, since it's so small. He removed it to clean it, and before cleaning it we held a light inside it and could see that they were actually holes.
