The tape doesn't really give you any information. The student were actually yelling in the beginning of the video so he either just talks very loud or he is not calm. It's either discrimination or that student is one angry man.

while it is true he didn't do anything, an article said that he shouted for the other students in the library to rise up/riot. honestly if someone i was trying to apprehend was trying to start a riot or make things worse, i'll be more aggressive

 

i just don't see how those 3 (or however many there were) couldn't just drag him out. he wasn't fighting back, right? can't really tell from the video.

 

yea i couldn't believe that 3 guys couldn't take one guy with a small build. however the guy 'went limp' and resisted to go out.

the guy was finishing a paper and at UCLA you can't be at their library unless you have a student ID card. well he didn't have his and the librarian or someone said they were gonna call real security. the kid is like ok. by the time he security shows up, the guy is already leaving the library.

you said you heard him yelling right? that's because he's getting tazered. then you hear the pig ask him to get up multiple times or he'll tazer him again. not everyone can just get up after being shocked like that. he got tazered multiple times. when another student asked for the cop's badge numbers, the cop told him to step back or he'd tazer him too. to my knowledge, you're allowed to ask for badge numbers without being threatened for doing nothing

i hate cops. most of em anyways...

 

did the police use excessive force? yes i won't argue against that. however, the article reads that they used a drive stun.
you can see he can CLEARLY move in the video as they finally escort him out, he jumps and kicks man. he went limp on purpose and refused to move, although using the tazer again on him since he was in handcuffs wasn't needed.

i'm just trying to make sense of this whole situation, i'm not defending anyone. i just like to point out stuff so don't get so angry ian

i think they didn't drag him out cuz of previous instances where they break a limb by brute force.
