heres my question with damage heavy, how long does it take for the car to recover?
my main issue with is not with driving aides is the boost. how often do we find our self either chasing someone down the front straight then have boost kick in, miss the braking point cuz we are 10-30mph OVER our normal speed, and either ram in to the wall or the guy infront of us. oh wait that makes it fun hahaha.
I say boost high, penalties high, damage low, and of course every one knows how i feel about aides but for the sake of fairness of the game, traction control on, active steering on, ASM off, and skid recovery off.
this way u make contact u get a penalty, boost will keep the pack close, damage will slow u down a bit. even though the comp is helping u turn in, but there is no recovery for u if you spin.

When people mess up, you'll be 15-20 seconds behind, the odds of that person being able to catch up will be slim to none. This happened last night on the Monte Carlo race when we ran no boost.
The whole point about going wheel to wheel is going to the limit off line to make your pass, if there is no consequence with this, whats the point in racing?

little explanation what each option does-
Traction Control System (TCS) - prevents wheel spin caused by over-acceleration as a car exits a corner.
Active steering - pretty much prevents u from over steering, and then spinning out.
ASM(Active Stability Management) - is a system to prevent oversteer or understeer by using brakes
Skid Recovery - When you're skidding, the game helps you by applying the brakes and altering your steering input to straighten the car back out.

after much argument, Eddie and I have came to a decision regarding this topic, we only need Lawson as a final say.
out of the driving aids, Skid recovery will be allowed along with TC. The other aids are still not allowed. We will also implement higher damage. Boost will still be on as well as introducing real grip conditions near the track/grass.
