What if we had a small desk fan, that we can aim at the PS3.. What would be the best was to aim the fan's air flow, from underneath?

this game only gets justice on the pc!!!!!!

 

Because of the shell that the PS3 is in only the ambient temp around the console will be reduced. It may have some effect but the core heat may remain relative the same. The fan design is really different not sure if addd turblance will cause a problem.

I notices after placing the foot pads on the bottom of the console, the heat from the exhaust was cooler.

 

after you mentioned the elevated console on the packaging tape core, i've put my PS3 next to the window and sitting on 2 packing tape cores, centered at the base of the console.. the air thats been coming through the window at night has been really chilly, so I hope that will help... But then again, i'm afraid of dust...
