My car is leaking coolant... can I put dusktape over it before I change a new one

So I want to fix this ASAP before thur.
3 options for me
1. Get it fix at Suby Specialties with stock parts
2. Make it a DIY project. Since I have no idea how to do it and no equipment, I have to come to one of you guys's house to do it and you have to tell me how. (free food... or money) How long will it take?
3. Get parts (toyo whatever or stock) from you guys and install it at suby specialties.
The question is... do I need the Toyo Radiator thing? I don't do track but I go to snow mountain and joshua tree/death valley places so I guess better radiator definitely helps.
