Monterey Historics Races/Concours
Anyone heading up to Monterey (Leguna Seca/Mazda Raceway) for the historic races and Concorso Italiano?
I called them and asked if we get 10 cars together, could we display our cars with
the likes of Porsche, Lambo, and others...
Since the Miata Club will have their cars there, (I used to race Spec Miata's), we should have some REX's there...
The downside is the cost to exibit a car.. .it's $160 per car for driver/passenger. For the super trick guys who love to display their cars, this is worth it.. since most spend thousands on their cars...
The event is on Friday, Aug 13, 2004 9:00AM - 4:30PM

I will know Monday if they will permit 10 cars (or more) to attend in the Corral area of the golf-course...

Its Ferrari again.
Wow, its seems like it was only a year or two ago that Ferrari was the marquee at the Historics- it was 1994. After 15ish years of the Historics, I've got most of the regular participants memorized. For those that haven't been, this should be an excellent year to get aquainted with this event.
Perhaps in another decade or two they may do Subaru- then I woke up from my dream.
