Anyone Going to Monterey Historics/Races?
Ferrari is the featured make this year, so there will be tons of exotic red works of art around that weekend..
I am heading for the historics this August. If you have 10 cars, (ie. Subies) we can park together and show off our cars and enjoy the races on Saturday...
Not sure of the deadline, but they say they will have plenty of room... all we need is 10 cars and approval to display our cars with porsche's, lambo's etc...

Would anyone want to display their car on Friday?
The entry (driver and passenger) is $160 per car. It includes hospitality vouchers, goodies bag and some other stuff... more info on the website.
I am checking with the organizers if Subaru could be on display in the Corral area..

Its Ferrari again.
Wow, its seems like it was only a year or two ago that Ferrari was the marquee at the Historics- it was 1994. After 15ish years of the Historics, I've got most of the regular participants memorized. For those that haven't been, this should be an excellent year to get aquainted with this event.
Perhaps in another decade or two they may do Subaru- then I woke up from my dream.

Hey Senor Bano's,
Ya, it will be cool seeing some 50's TR driven by Phil Hill on the track again...
I want to meet up with Andy Cohen who used to own Beverly Hills Motoring Acces.
he's nuts about Ferrari's etc.
One person in the know about what's happening... see F-40's on the streets here in LA from time to time and almost all other exotics, but not on a track...
Perhaps 10 cars from Ferdies S.C. Subi show will enter and bring their cars up for the concorso..
I sold my #24 Spec Miata to buy the Subie...
the 17 mile drive is nice..

17 Mile Drive is like the back of my hand.
Pebble Beach is actually where road racing began on the Monterey Peninsula:
