Well like I've seen sample shots from the Nikon and the Xti, and shots taken from the Nikon is "Damn look at the color", Colors seem to more vibrant and really "pop" at you. The Xti just seemed to be a bit better in terms of quality. I know Canon still has the best image processing built into their cameras (but this might be old and out dated info.

So I guess thats why I wanted to post up. I was trying to get some insight on my end to see how much time I want to be oooing and ahhhh'ing at the colors of in my shots, instead of the picture itself.

Trying to work out a deal with Canon, because the XSi will be out soon, or to just get one as a "Sample"

LOL!!

I want to take pretty much anything and everything.. Just want to start a hobby. I really like taking landscapes

and shots of people that don't know the camera is on them. I know that sounds a little illegal, LOL... I don't mean it that way, I just mean like Natural non influenced shots of everyday people, going about their everyday life..

nikon d40x - better image, gooder user friendly, less feature

canon xti - more features, more lens, for advance user

it's been argue that even if you spend the money to get the quality of the nikon, you still won't be able to match it and canon lens don't come cheap.
