I just purchased a uppipe and downpipe used from somebody and they put in for me. Obviously, they did not use new gaskets, but the gaskets seem to be in good shape. Everybody describes the exhaust leak as a hissing sound. Well, I get this whoosing sound. I had the same sound when I gutted the cat on my civic. Postively no leak on my civic, but there is this whoosing sound similar to an aftermarket intake at idle on a honda. I wanted to head down to life plaza tonight so someone can hear it, but injured ankle has kept me home. Help?
Also, I got the hks downpipe and it has ports for (2) O2 sensors. One bung has a sensor and the other has a dead sensor just to plug the hole. I just need one CEL fix, right? I don't really need to get a second O2 sensor just because there is a bung for it. If I do need to get one, what do I connect it to?
